The touristic city of Genf

Geneve is the second largest city in Switzerland and consists of the largest population of French speakers in comparison to all other cities in Switzerland. The city is situated near river Genf, right at the edge of the western river, also known as River Geneve. This river is considered one of the largest rivers in Europe with its length reaching approximately 90 km, where it also passes by major cities in Switzerland and France such as Luzan fefe mentor and the French Avian. Geneva is also a city in which several international organisations are located such as the famous Mont Blanc, the United Nations, World business organisation, The Red Cross, World Health Organisation and Human right’s organisation.
This city is also considered a location where international agreements occur, hence where the names ‘world capital’ or ‘capital of peace’ originates from. More than 175 worldwide diplomatic groups are in Geneva and has the second largest number of millionaires, not far behind Monaco. This beautiful city is also bordered by impeccable sights of The Alps and the traditional sightseeing of the mountains of Jura. French areas also border the city such as Divonne les bains and on the other side of this beautiful, ancient city we can find famous tourist attractions such as Shamny, which is located between the borders of Switzerland, France and Italy, and is one of the most visited place in the world.
Other tourist attractions include the budget put into fireworks site seeing, museums, bridges and the famous ‘broken chair’ in front of the United nation’s building which has a symbolic meaning about humanity. Last but not least, we have the famous Geneva fountain, which reaches heights of up to 140 metres, with lights generated on the side to add to the beauty of this tourist attraction. It also contains brilliant universities, malls, luxury hotels as well as the French/Swiss airport that is close to the city which makes it easy to get to and your experience even more magical!
